Background
In 2022, the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) partnered with Schneider Electric to assess and boost the industrial sustainability of manufacturing companies established in the UAE. In 2021 Schneider Electric was ranked World's most sustainable company by Corporate Knights. In this partnership, our aim at Schneider Electric was to design an industrial sustainability assessment index and test it on fifty factories. As the program manager, I took the lead in designing the assessment report layout and the assessment methodology. Due to NDA, I will not be able to share excerpts of the actual assessment report, but I will share the process that led to the final deliverables.

Feedback & Reflections
The ministry highly appreciated the clarity and holistic nature of the assessment design. The design thinking habit that helped me deliver on this project was to Put First Things First. I reiterated the end goal of the project and prioritized clarity over aesthetics.
