ASME Club fair Booth
I designed the ASME club fair booth with an Aerospace theme for the American University of Sharjah 2020 Club Fair. My team and I built the Saturn V rocket with a foam core and used servos and invisible strings to levitate the rocket in the air. ASME won the best club fair booth award out of 55 clubs that semester.
Environmental Day- Poster Competition (First Place)
Theme: Stories of extraordinary Scientists
Low-Cost Portable Ventilator Design
For my Biomedical Electronics Class Research Paper, I designed a low-cost portable ventilator. The aim of this project was to design a ventilator based on a bag-valve mask, which could be used as alternative to mechanical ventilators in critical situations related to COVID-19. I used a combination of the electrical and mechanical systems for my design.
NGN 110 Crane Design Competition
I was the lead designer for this competition, and our group won first place out of 115 groups. The crane I built was the lightest in weight (100 grams) and carried 75 grams. The event was broadcasted on national Television, and I was fortunate to give an interview.
